In-Home Concierge Nurse Lab Services
What are in-home lab services and how can they help me?
Covington Wellness is excited to offer in-home concierge nurse lab services! Do you have a loved one who struggles with getting to the lab? Do you have a parent who no longer drives but needs some bloodwork done? Are you curious about your hormones but don’t have a doctor’s order for testing? We can help!
Covington Wellness offers two options for in-home lab work. Please schedule a quick phone consult below to discuss which option is best for you.
If you have a physician order for bloodwork already, we will just need a copy of it and then one of our highly skilled Registered Nurses can come to your home and draw the labs and drop at a local lab.
If you do not have a physician order, no problem. You can click the link below to visit our lab shop and choose which tests you would like to have done!
CHOOSE YOUR OWN LAB WORK
Covington Wellness is so excited to have the opportunity to offer you a wide selection of lab testing which can be completed in the comfort of your own home. Many of these tests are available at a deep discount which makes it even more exciting. The process for choosing your own lab testing is easy and allows you the opportunity to choose from many options.
*PLEASE NOTE: We only perform in-home lab work in the general Northshore area (St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington parishes). If you live outside of the Northshore area, please contact us first to discuss whether or not we can assist you.*
Our fees for in-home lab work are the same as stated above.:
$99 for your first appointment and $75 for any subsequent appointments. Packages can also be purchased. These fees are in addition to the cost of your lab testing you order through our lab shop.
Please follow these steps to choose your lab tests and get set up for one of our Registered Nurses to visit your home and complete lab tests.
1. Visit our online lab shop by clicking the link below. Browse available tests and, when you are ready, order and pay for your testing. All necessary components of ordered lab tests will be shipped directly to you.
2. Once you have ordered and paid for your tests, please click below to schedule a phone consult with one of our Registered Nurses so that we can discuss your lab work, whether or not you need to be fasting, answer any questions you have, and schedule an appointment to complete it. After this phone call, Covington Wellness will send you a payment invoice which must be paid in advance of your appointment time.
3. At your scheduled appointment time, one of our Registered Nurses will arrive at your home to collect samples. Please have all supplies on hand that were shipped to you from the lab shop. The nurse will collect samples and deliver to the lab for you.
4. Your results will be reviewed by one of our lab shop physicians and sent to you and Covington Wellness. If you have any questions, you can always reach out to Covington Wellness!
